If you don’t take a commission, why is there a platform fee?
Apps charge a commission: a percentage of every sale that grows with your order. Click2Bite only charges a platform fee, a flat amount per online order, to keep your page linked to Google Maps, connect your payments securely and make sure every order reaches your order screen already paid and validated. No commission per order: just the platform fee, $1 USD per online order, at no cost to your customer. The bank’s card processing fee is separate, as with any card terminal.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They order from their phone’s browser: from your Google Maps profile, your link or your QR code. After their first order they can save you in their Click2Bite app, where you appear with your logo, with no app store and nothing to download.
Does it work for bakeries, florists and shops?
Yes. When you sign up you choose your type of business and Click2Bite uses its words: menu or catalog, products instead of dishes. Bakeries, florists and shops can turn on scheduled orders, up to 15 days ahead, with a daily maximum.
How do scheduled orders work?
Customers pick a day and time within your hours and pay when ordering: the order is active once paid. It lands in your schedule and you confirm it with one tap. We remind you the night before, at opening and when it’s time to prepare it. If you don’t confirm it in time, the customer gets their money back.
Does it work for pharmacies?
Not for now. Selling medicines has special rules in each country, so Click2Bite doesn’t offer it.
I am not on any delivery app. Is it for me?
Yes. Click2Bite gives you your own online ordering channel without the apps’ paperwork or commissions: upload your menu, connect your payment account and share your link on Google Maps, WhatsApp, social media and with a QR code in your venue.
Which countries does it work in?
Today you can sign up in Mexico. We are already preparing United States, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay and Spain, with payments in local currency and the same way of working.
What if nobody accepts an order in time?
The bell keeps ringing. If the minutes you set go by without it being accepted, the order is rejected and the customer gets an automatic refund.
How do I get my app customers to order from me directly?
With “Order direct”: you print a seal with your QR and stick it on every app or takeout order. Your customer scans it, lands on your menu with a gift for their first direct order (you choose how much and until when) and saves you on their phone. In your dashboard you see how many scanned, how many ordered direct and how much you saved in commissions. Check each app's contract in case it limits advertising inside its orders.
What's this about ordering with ChatGPT or Claude?
They're AI assistants that many people already use to ask where to eat. Click2Bite gives them your live menu (prices, options, sold-out items and hours) so they can recommend you and build the order. Your customer pays on your Stripe page and the order reaches your kitchen like any other. You don't have to do anything, and it's included in every plan.
Does my business need to be on Google Maps?
For the “Order online” button, yes: you need a verified Google Business Profile. If you don't have one yet, you can start selling with your link and your QR code.
What do I need to receive orders?
Any tablet, laptop or phone with a browser. Open the order screen, tap “Start shift” and you're set.
